Nightmares

“Back then, I had this dream. It never changed, and it was really horrible for some reason, even if it wasn’t really…bad. I was lying on the floor of a really bright room. There were no windows, and no lights, but the walls were bright white, and everything was blinding. I wasn’t wearing anything but underwear, and I was crying slowly and silently. I could feel the tears. My hair was in my face, but I didn’t ever try to move it. I was comfortable in my position on the floor, but emotionally, I was the most miserable and uncomfortable I’d ever been. All I could feel was shame and fear, and my head hurt so badly I felt like it might just melt.” She shrugged, still not looking me in the eyes. “That’s all I ever did, was lie there. But it was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever known.”

My OC, Iris. This is from something I’m writing, but I might cut this scene… We’ll see. Not pleased with the anatomy. I took way too long to upload this here, too. Whoops.
